Why Labs, why now

AI automation is moving faster than the systems, institutions and societies it serves. Data is becoming one of the world's most important commodities, while pressure grows across climate, housing, finance, public services and human wellbeing.
Krowd Labs exists in that uncomfortable space. We put people who can build, people who understand the problem, people who can fund solutions and people who will live with the consequences around the same table.
We need to hit the Labs.
How the Labs work
01
We meet the key stakeholders to understand the change they want to make, what is blocking it and what the Labs can usefully contribute.
02
Founders, engineers, capital, domain experts and people with lived experience gather around a shared challenge, not a generic syllabus.
03
Teams live, work, test and learn together. Full residencies last 90 days, with shorter visits for specialists, partners and investors.
04
A pilot, product, investment, partnership, new venture or a better question. Progress matters more than theatre.
Cohort Two
Cohort Two will bring three ventures into the heart of the Labs, supported by sponsors, specialists, partners and people with lived experience of the challenges being explored.
House Krowd is the first confirmed startup and will occupy Lavender, sponsored by Krowd Group Limited. Applicants and prospective sponsors for Pomegranate and Ivy have been identified and are now under review.
One startup confirmed. Two places in final review.
The cohort remains deliberately small. Founders can live and build onsite for the full 90 days, while sponsors, specialists and investors join at the moments where they can add the most value.

A premium, self-funded pre-incubator for a solo founder or small team with deep domain knowledge and the conviction to solve something that matters. In two intensive weeks, we move from idea to a working venture with the technology, operating model and market route needed to keep going.
We are especially interested in ventures that serve residential assets, the people who live in them and the data Krowd holds or produces. Conscious social purpose matters more than fitting neatly into a category.
Founders work directly with experienced operators, technologists, investors and specialists, with market access through the Labs' extended global network.
Apply for the two-week launch Map your idea with CAT-CTurn domain expertise and a meaningful problem into a focused proposition, tested assumptions and a practical route to customers.
Leave with GitHub configured, staging and production deployment flows, cloud infrastructure and available startup credits in place.
Use agentic ticketing, development workflows and founder self-service tools to keep building without unnecessary technical barriers.
Put a functioning go-to-market MVP into founders' hands, start customer acquisition and establish an investment-ready narrative and evidence base.
Build
A functioning MVP, live infrastructure and a repeatable way for founders to develop it.
Reach
Early customer acquisition underway, with access to the Labs' extended market and partner network.
Raise
An investment-ready proposition, evidence base and practical funding pathway.
What belongs here
We want solutions that improve the relationship between technology, society and the planet. The definition is intentionally broad, but the purpose must be real.
Apathy has no place in the Labs.
Who belongs here
Founders, startups, scaleups, engineers and technologists.
Funds and investors who want to participate earlier and closer.
Enterprises, public bodies, asset owners and community organisations.
Mentors, researchers, specialists and people with lived experience.

Founders do not exist independently of partners, children, families or communities. Families are deliberately welcome at Krowd Labs. Children are not an inconvenience to engineer out of the environment. They are the people who inherit what we build.
They are why we are doing it.
Pachamama, Montenegro
Surrounded by nature and shaped around community, Pachamama provides space to think, work, disagree, eat together, recover and try again. This is not a hotel with a conference room attached. For 90 days, it becomes home.
Each core startup space is supported by a programme sponsor, helping cover the operating costs of the retreat.

Capital with proximity
Krowd Labs connects innovators with funding suited to their stage and purpose. This can include Krowd-backed loans and convertible instruments, alongside selected institutional investors and funding partners from pre-seed to later-stage capital.
Investors can meet projects while assumptions are still being challenged, participate in the process and contribute capital, expertise and market access. Not every important problem should require a founder to surrender control simply to test whether a solution works.
Start with a conversation
Tell us what you are building, funding or trying to solve. We will arrange a short online conversation to understand what you need, what you can contribute and whether Krowd Labs can help.
